The Qatar Economic Forum 2023 provided a glimpse of Qatar’s growing role in the global economy.
Influential business and political figures gathered in Doha from May 23-25 for the Qatar Economic Forum (QEF), hosted by Bloomberg. The event provided a platform for high-level discussions on economic growth, social development and environmental management.
The first day of the QEF featured exciting presentations and discussions on a wide range of topics. Talks ranged from the future of storytelling
to the world of art and luxury to a new chapter in global capitalism. Of particular interest was a talk on gaming and pop culture, which
highlighted the importance of this emerging industry.
Attendees also had ample opportunity for networking, both at the official events and at the joint dinner. The Qatar Economic Forum
attracted more than 1,000 decision-makers from more than 100 countries, underscoring the event’s importance for international exchange
and collaboration.
In addition to the events of the Forum itself, Boris & Stefan also took the opportunity to explore the fascinating city of Doha. The rapid transformation
of the city is particularly eye-catching. Doha focuses on controlled growth and quality, finding a balance between modernity and tradition.
The presence of renowned universities and the long-term Vision 2030 project are examples of the ambitious pursuit of excellence.
A special highlight was the visit to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, where our two gained deep insights into the rich culture and history of the region.
The city impressed with its hospitality and offered a unique opportunity to experience Qatar’s culture and way of life up close.
Another highlight was the invitation to the hallowed halls of the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA), where the topic was digital assets
and our Cow Level share was presented by Stefan to the 20 delegates. The discussions showed Qatar’s growing interest and openness to innovation and new technologies.
The Qatar Economic Forum 2023 highlighted Qatar’s growing role in the global economy. The event provided a unique platform for exchanging ideas, fostering business relationships, and discussing forward-looking issues. Qatar and the MENA region are well on their way to becoming a key player on the global stage, and the QEF is helping to make this a reality. We look forward if Cow Level can be part of this growth story.
The conversation with QFCRA clearly showed that our topic is important to them and Cow Level appliedfor a Startup Hub in Doha.
Greetings from Doha!
